General practitioners who have admitting rights may refer patients for admission to Gosford Private Hospital 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Elective Admissions

Elective admissions are arranged through the office of an accredited medical practitioner. In most cases, a general practitioner refers a patient to a consultant at their rooms, where an elective admission is arranged if appropriate.
